Advanced Dashboard Techniques - Editing Data Tables
Editing Data Tables:
- Data tables are a method of displaying multiple KPIs in a compact format
- Each Table has an optional title (e.g. age performance)
- Each table must contain at least one dimension for comparison (e.g. age range)
- The table will also contain one or more metrics (e.g. impressions etc.)

Quick Tip: Before editing any widget, duplicate the original widget and leave it as a backup copy in case you need to reference the original settings. Make your changes on duplicate, there is no undo button once settings are saved. Cloning is also quicker than creating from scratch. If there is no space nearby, the clone will be created at the bottom of the dashboard (see below)
- Open the dashboard in “Edit View”
- Mouse over the widget for which you want to change settings
- Click the ”Edit Widget” button (gear)
- On the panel that opens on the right select Basic Settings

- Edit the WIDGET TITLE to change the name that appears over the table
- Type the Label for the DIMENSION COLUMN
- Don’t edit the METRIC labels. They will change on their own when you select new metrics
- Metrics can’t be re-arranged after they are added so click the X to remove any you don’t need
- Use the dropdown arrow and search and select in the order that you want the metrics displayed
- Use the DIMENSION drop down arrow to select a new dimension to match the label typed earlier.
- Then Save
