Advanced Dashboard Techniques - Google Account Filters

Google Account Filters:

1. Reports for Google accounts can be created from scratch or using any of the existing Google templates​

1. The named for templates Google already contain filters for each Google network. E.g Search, Display, Video​

1. Filters can be removed to get an overall picture of the account regardless network.​

1. Additional filters can also be added to show performance of the account at the campaign and ad group levels.
   

To Access the Filter Settings:

1. Open the dashboard in “Edit View”​

1. Mouse over the widget for which you want to change settings​

1. Click the ”Edit Widget” button (gear)​

1. On the panel that opens on the right select Basic Settings​

1. Scroll down to the Filters section at the bottom
   

To Add A Filter:

1. Choose the filter​

1. Select the inclusion options​

1. Type out the criteria​

1. Click Add​

1. Click Save to apply​ 

1. Repeat steps 1-5 for each widget​     
   

 

To Remove A Filter:

1. Click the “X” on the filter under the “Active Filters” Section​

1. Click Save to apply​

1. Repeat steps 1-5 for each widget​

NB: Some filters may be automatically added based on other options selected. ​
